တဏွာေရအလ်ဉ္စီးေၾကာင္းၾကီးကို လံု႕လျပဳၿပီး ျဖတ္ေတာက္ပါ။
ဝတၳဳ ကိေလသာ ကာမႏွစ္ျဖာကို ႏႈတ္ပယ္ပါ။
ရုပ္နာမ္ခႏၶာသခၤါရတရားေတြရဲ႕ ပ်က္စီးတတ္တဲ့သေဘာကို သိၿပီး
အေၾကာင္းတရားေတြ မျပဳျပင္အပ္တဲ့ နိဗၺာန္ကို သိျမင္ပါ။

26. Brāhmaṇavagga: The Holy Man
383. Exert yourself, O holy man! Cut off the stream (of craving), and discard sense desires.
Knowing the destruction of all the conditioned things, become, O holy man,
the knower of the Uncreated (Nibbāna)!

384. When a holy man has reached the summit of two paths
(meditative concentration and insight), he knows the truth and all his fetters fall away.

385. He for whom there is neither this shore nor the other shore, nor yet both,
he who is free of cares and is unfettered—him do I call a holy man.

သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕ ငါဘုရား ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။

ဈာယႎ ဝိရဇမာသီနံ၊ ကတကိစၥမနာသဝံ။
ဥတၱမတၳမႏုပၸတၱံ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
386. He who is meditative, stainless and settled,
whose work is done and who is free from cankers, having reached the highest goal—
him do I call a holy man.
ကိုယ္ေရာင္ကိုယ္ဝါ ေတာက္ပစြာ၊ က်က္သေရမဂၤလာ အျဖာျဖာ ( ဓ - ၃၈၇ )
ေနမင္းဟာ ေန႕အခါ ေတာက္ပတင့္တယ္ပါတယ္။
လမင္းဟာ ညခင္းမွာ ေတာက္ပတင့္တယ္ပါတယ္။
ရွင္ဘုရင္ဟာ မင္းဝတ္တန္ဆာ ဆင္ထားတဲ့အခါ ေတာက္ပတင့္တယ္ပါတယ္။

တကယ္ေတာ့ - ျမတ္စြာဘုရားရွင္သာလွ်င္ ေန႕ေရာညပါ အခါမလပ္
ပါရမီေတာ္စြမ္အင္ တန္ခိုးအာနုေဘာ္ႏွင့္
ထြန္းလင္းေတာက္ပ တင့္တယ္လွပါတယ္။

ဒိဝါ တပတိ အာဒိေစၥာ၊ ရတၱိမာဘာတိ စႏၵိမာ။
သႏၷေဒၶါ ခတၱိေယာ တပတိ၊ ဈာယီ တပတိ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ။
အထ သဗၺမေဟာရတၱႎ ၊ ဗုေဒၶါ တပတိ ေတဇသာ။
387. The sun shines by day, the moon shines by night.
The warrior shines in armor, the holy man shines in meditation.
But the Buddha shines resplendent all day and all night.

မေကာင္းမႈေတြကို ပထုတ္ပစ္တာေၾကာင့္ ျဗာဟၼဏ လို႕ ေခၚဆိုသင့္ပါတယ္။

ကိုယ့္ရဲ႕ တဏွာရာဂ စတဲ့ ကိေလသာအညစ္အေၾကးေတြကို
ႏွင္ထုတ္ပယ္တာေၾကာင့္

ဗာဟိတပါေပါတိ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ၊ သမစရိယာ သမေဏာတိ ဝုစၥတိ။
ပဗၺာဇယမတၱေနာ မလံ၊ တသၼာ ‘‘ပဗၺဇိေတာ’’တိ ဝုစၥတိ။
388. Because he has discarded evil, he is called a holy man.
Because he is serene in conduct, he is called a recluse.
And because he has renounced his impurities, he is called a renunciate.

အမ်က္ေဒါသ မထြက္သင့္ပါဘူး။

ပုတ္ခတ္သူကို အမ်က္ျပန္ထြက္တာလည္း ရြံစရာ(ရွက္စရာ)ပါပဲ။

၃၈၉. သာရိပုတၱေတၳရဝတၳဳ (၃၈၉၊ ၃၉၀)
န ျဗာဟၼဏႆ ပဟေရယ်၊ နာႆ မုေၪၥထ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ။
ဓီ ျဗာဟၼဏႆ ဟႏၲာရံ၊ တေတာ ဓီ ယႆ မုၪၥတိ။
၃၉၀. န ျဗာဟၼဏေႆတဒကိၪၥိ ေသေယ်ာ၊ ယဒါ နိေသေဓာ မနေသာ ပိေယဟိ။
ယေတာ ယေတာ ဟႎသမေနာ နိဝတၱတိ၊ တေတာ တေတာ သမၼတိေမဝ ဒုကၡံ။
389. One should not strike a holy man, nor should a holy man, when struck, give way to anger.
Shame on him who strikes a holy man, and more shame on him who gives way to anger.
390. Nothing is better for a holy man
than when he holds his mind back from what is endearing.
To the extent the intent to harm wears away, to that extent does suffering subside.

သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕ ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
၃၉၁. မဟာပဇာပတိေဂါတမီဝတၳဳ (၃၉၁)
ယႆ ကာေယန ဝါစာယ၊ မနသာ နတၳိ ဒုကၠဋံ။
သံဝုတံ တီဟိ ဌာေနဟိ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
391. He who does no evil in deed, word and thought,
who is restrained in these three ways—
him do I call a holy man.

အဲဒီဆရာကို ရုိရိုေသေသ ရိွခိုးသင့္ပါတယ္။

ယမွာ ဓမၼံ ဝိဇာေနယ်၊ သမၼာသမၺဳဒၶေဒသိတံ။
သကၠစၥံ တံ နမေႆယ်၊ အဂၢိဟုတၱံဝ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ။
392. Just as a brāhmaṇ priest reveres his sacrificial fire,
even so should one devoutly revere the person from whom one has learned
the Dhamma taught by the Buddha.
သစၥာသိ တရားရိွ၊ ထိုသူ စင္ၾကယ္၏။ ( ဓ - ၃၉၃ )

သစၥဉာဏ္ရိွသူ၊ (သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတရား) ေလာကုတၱရာတရားရိွသူပဲ
စင္ၾကယ္သူလည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ျဗာဟၼဏလည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
၃၉၃. ဇဋိလျဗာဟၼဏဝတၳဳ (၃၉၃)
န ဇဋာဟိ န ေဂါေတၱန၊ န ဇစၥာ ေဟာတိ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ။
ယမွိ သစၥၪၥ ဓေမၼာ စ၊ ေသာ သုစီ ေသာ စ ျဗာဟၼေဏာ။
393. Not by matted hair, nor by lineage, nor by birth does one become a holy man.
But he in whom truth and righteousness exist—he is pure, he is a holy man.
ပံုေျပာင္းရံုနဲ႕ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းမျဖစ္ႏိုင္။ ( ဓ - ၃၉၄ )
ပညာမဲ့ရေသ့ ! သင့္မွာ ဆံက်စ္ထံုးတာေၾကာင့္ ဘာအက်ိဳးရိွမွာလဲ။

သင့္ကုိယ္တြင္းမွာ ကိေလသာေတာအုပ္ၾကီး ရႈပ္ေထြးထူထပ္ေနေပမယ့္
ျပင္ပကိုပဲ သုတ္သင္(ျပင္ဆင္)ေနတယ္ေလ။

394. What is the use of your matted hair, O witless man?
What of your garment of antelope’s hide? Within you is the tangle (of passion);
only outwardly do you cleanse yourself.

သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕ ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။

ပံသုကူလဓရံ ဇႏၲဳံ၊ ကိသံ ဓမနိသႏၴတံ။
ဧကံ ဝနသၼႎ ဈာယႏၲံ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
395. The person who wears a robe made of rags,
who is lean, with veins showing all over the body, and who meditates alone in the forest—
him do I call a holy man.
မစြဲလမ္း မစိုးရိမ္မွ ျဗာဟၼဏ ( ဓ - ၃၉၆ )
ပုဏၰားမရဲ႕ ဝမ္းဗိုက္မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး
ပုဏၰားမရဲ႕ သားေမြးလမ္းက ေမြးဖြားလာတဲ့ ပုဏၰားကို ျဗာဟၼဏလို႕
ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မမူပါဘူး။
ဖိစီးႏိွပ္စက္တတ္တဲ့ ကိေလသာရိွရင္
(စိုးရိမ္ေၾကာင့္ၾကေစတဲ့ တဏွာရာဂ ရိွရင္) ေဘာဝါဒီအမည္ရိွသူပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
ဖိစီးႏိွပ္စက္တတ္တဲ့ ကိေလသာမရိွသူ
(စိုးရိမ္ေၾကာင့္ၾကေစတဲ့ တဏွာရာဂ မရိွသူ)
ဥပါဒါန္ကင္းရွင္း စြဲလမ္းျခင္းမရိွသူကိုပဲ သူေတာ္စင္သူေတာ္ေကာင္း ျဗာဟၼဏလို႕
ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
၃၉၆. ဧကျဗာဟၼဏဝတၳဳ (၃၉၆)
န စာဟံ ျဗာဟၼဏံ ျဗဴမိ၊ ေယာနိဇံ မတၱိသမ႓ဝံ။
ေဘာဝါဒိ နာမ ေသာ ေဟာတိ၊ သေစ ေဟာတိ သကိၪၥေနာ။
အကိၪၥနံ အနာဒါနံ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
396. I do not call him a holy man because of his lineage or high-born mother.
If he is full of impeding attachments, he is just a supercilious man.
But who is free from impediments and clinging—him do I call a holy man.
ျပတ္သားမွ အျမတ္တရားရ ( ဓ - ၃၉၇ )
သံေယာဇဉ္အားလံုးကို ျဖတ္ေတာက္ၿပီးလို႕
မပူပန္ မေတာင့္တ မေၾကာက္လန္႕ပါဘူး။
တြယ္တာကပ္ၿငိတဲ့ ကိေလသာကို ေက်ာ္လြန္ၿပီး
ကိေလသာႏွင့္ မယွဉ္တြဲတဲ့ပုဂၢိဳလ္ကို
သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕ ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
၃၉၇. ဥဂၢေသနေသ႒ိပုတၱဝတၳဳ (၃၉၇)
သဗၺသံေယာဇနံ ေဆတြာ၊ ေယာ ေဝ န ပရိတႆတိ။
သဂၤါတိဂံ ဝိသံယုတၱံ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
397. He who, having cut off all fetters, trembles no more, who has overcome all attachments and
is emancipated—him do I call a holy man.
ေနွာင္ၾကိဳးျဖတ္ကာ အလင္းတံခါးဖြင့္ပါ။ ( ဓ - ၃၉၈ )
ေဒါသ ေႏွာင္ဖြဲ႕ၾကိဳး၊ တဏွာ ခ်ည္တုပ္ၾကိဳး၊
အႏုသယကိေလသာနွင့္တကြ မိစၦာဒိ႒ိ(၆၂)ပါးဆိုတဲ့
ေက်ာ့ကြင္းၾကိဳးေတြကို ျဖတ္ေတာက္ၿပီး၊
တံခါးပိတ္မင္းတုပ္ အဝိဇၨာကို နႈတ္ပယ္ၿပီး (ဉာဏ္အလင္းပြင့္သူ)
သစၥာေလးပါးကိုသိသူကို
သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕ ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
၃၉၈. ေဒြျဗာဟၼဏဝတၳဳ (၃၉၈)
ေဆတြာ နဒၶႎ ဝရတၱၪၥ၊ သႏၵာနံ သဟႏုကၠမံ။
ဥကၡိတၱပလိဃံ ဗုဒၶံ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
398. He who has cut off the thong (of hatred), the band (of craving), and the rope (of false views),
together with the appurtenances (latent evil tendencies), he who has removed the crossbar
(of ignorance) and is enlightened—him do I call a holy man.

ခႏၱီတရား သည္းခံစြမ္းအားဆိုတဲ့ စစ္တပ္ၾကီးရိွတဲ့ အဲဒီပုဂၢိဳလ္ကို
သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕ ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။
၃၉၉. အေကၠာသကဘာရဒြါဇဝတၳဳ (၃၉၉)
အေကၠာသံ ဝဓဗႏၶၪၥ၊ အဒုေ႒ာ ေယာ တိတိကၡတိ။
ခႏၲီဗလံ ဗလာနီကံ၊ တမဟံ ျဗဴမိ ျဗာဟၼဏံ။
399. He who without resentment endures abuse, beating and punishment;
whose power, real might, is patience—him do I call a holy man.

အေကၠာဓနံ ဝတဝႏၲံ၊ သီလဝႏၲံ အႏုႆဒံ။

he who does not cling to sensual pleasures—him do I call a holy man.

402. He who in this very life realizes for himself the end of suffering,
who has laid aside the burden and become emancipated—

skilled in discerning the right or wrong path, and has reached the highest goal—

404. He who holds aloof from householders and ascetics alike,
and wanders about with no fixed abode and but few wants—
him do I call a holy man.

405. He who has renounced violence towards all living beings, weak or strong,
who neither kills nor causes others to kill—

406. He who is friendly amidst the hostile,
peaceful amidst the violent, and unattached amidst the attached—

408. He who utters gentle, instructive and truthful words,
who imprecates none—him do I call a holy man.

အစြဲအလမ္းကင္းကြာ ၿငိမ္းေအးပါတယ္။
အဲဒီပုဂၢိဳလ္ကို သူေတာ္စင္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းလို႕
ငါဘုရားရွင္ ေဟာေတာ္မူပါတယ္။

414. He who, having traversed this miry, perilous and delusive round of existence,
has crossed over and reached the other shore; who is meditative, calm, free from doubt, and,
clinging to nothing, has attained to Nibbāna—him do I call a holy man.

has become tranquil, is rid of the substrata of existence and

ျမင့္ျမတ္တဲ့တရားကို ရွာမွီးတတ္တဲ့၊
မာရ္ကို ေအာင္ျမင္တဲ့၊

the Passionless, the Pure, the Enlightened one—him do I call a holy man.
